Abstract

Procedimiento para secar productos vegetales, en particular hierbas, el cual comprende las etapas: calentar el producto vegetal mediante una primera corriente de aire (22) en una zona de calentamiento (20; 200), estando la temperatura de la primera corriente de aire (22) seleccionada de manera que el valor aʷ del producto vegetal sea mantenido sustancialmente constante; calentar ulteriormente el producto vegetal mediante una segunda corriente de aire (32; 320) en una zona de pre-secado (30; 300), siendo la temperatura de la segunda corriente de aire (32; 320) seleccionada de manera que el producto vegetal sea calentado a más de 60ºC; calentar ulteriormente el producto vegetal mediante una tercera corriente de aire (42) en una zona de secado principal (40; 400), siendo la temperatura de la tercera corriente de aire (42) seleccionada de :manera que el producto vegetal sea calentado a una temperatura comprendida entre 90ºC y 100ºC y siendo la temperatura de la tercera corriente de aire (42) seleccionada de manera que el valor aʷ del producto vegetal sea reducido a un valor objetivo.
