Abstract

Se proporcionan composiciones de acero mejoradas y métodos para la fabricación de las mismas. Más particularmente, la presente descripción proporciona acero de alto manganeso (Mn) que tiene una resistencia y/o rendimiento mejorados a temperaturas criogénicas, y métodos para fabricar composiciones de acero de alto manganeso que tienen una resistencia y/o rendimiento mejorados a temperaturas criogénicas. Las composiciones / componentes de acero ventajosos de presente descripción mejoran una o más de las siguientes propiedades: resistencia, tenacidad, módulo de elasticidad, coeficiente de dilatación térmica y/o conductividad térmica. En general, la presente descripción proporciona aceros de alto manganeso adaptados para resistir el desgaste y/o la deformación a temperaturas criogénicas.
