Abstract

Se ha divulgado un método para obtener ácido monocloroacético incoloro, de alta pureza que abarca la cloración de ácido acético con cloro en presencia de un catalizador, seguida de la recuperación del catalizador a través de destilación al vacío y purificación del producto líquido crudo remanente obtenido mediante su hidrodeshalogenación con hidrógeno en presencia de un catalizador de paladio y luego destilación al vacío.
