Abstract
Un método para la generación de ²²⁷Th de pureza farmacéuticamente tolerable que comprende i) preparar una mezcla generadora que comprende ²²⁷Ac, ²²⁷Th y ²²³Ra; ii) cargar dicha mezcla generadora en una resina de intercambio aniónico de base fuerte; iii) eluir una mezcla de dichos ²²³Ra y ²²⁷Ac de dicha resina de intercambio aniónico de base fuerte utilizando un primer ácido mineral en una solución acuosa; iv) eluir ²²⁷Th de dicha resina de intercambio aniónico de base fuerte utilizando un segundo ácido mineral en una solución acuosa generando así una primera solución de ²²⁷Th que contiene ²²³Ra y ²²⁷Ac contaminantes; v) cargar la primera solución de ²²⁷Th en una resina de intercambio catiónico de ácido fuerte; vi) eluir por lo menos una parte de los ²²³Ra y ²²⁷Ac contaminantes de dicha resina de intercambio catiónico de ácido fuerte utilizando un tercer ácido mineral en solución acuosa; y vii) eluir el ²²⁷Th de dicha resina de intercambio catiónico de ácido fuerte utilizando una primera solución tampón acuosa para proporcionar una segunda solución de ²²⁷Th. Se proporcionan además torio-227 purificado de pureza farmacéutica y una composición farmacéutica que lo comprende.
