Abstract

Composiciones nutricionales en una forma sólida comprimida que comprenden alrededor de 5 hasta alrededor de 35% en peso de proteína, alrededor de 5 hasta alrededor de 50% en peso de grasa, y alrededor de 40 hasta alrededor de 70% en peso de carbohidrato, en donde la forma sólida comprimida es fácilmente soluble en agua y posee un nivel de humedad de 4 a 17%. La composición nutricional, en ciertas formas de realización, elimina la necesidad de cucharear el polvo dentro de botellas estrechas, elimina la necesidad de transportar polvos sueltos para posterior reconstrucción, y proveer tamaños de ración mas precisos para asegurar una correcta entrega de nutrientes para alimentación, sin dejar de ser fácilmente soluble al contacto con un líquido. La descripción proporciona además un proceso para la preparación de una composición nutricional en una forma sólida comprimida que comprende enfriar una composición nutricional en polvo, hacer entrar en contacto la composición nutricional en polvo enfriada con humedad, comprimir la composición nutricional en polvo con presión, y secar la composición nutricional.
