Abstract
Un sistema y método de imágenes y orientación de semillas automatizadas o semiautomatizadas para preparar las semillas para transformación e ingeniería transgénica. Reivindicación 1: Un método para procesar imágenes de una semilla, en donde el método comprende: usar un brazo robótico para posicionar una semilla que incluye un hilio dentro de un área iluminada, proyectar la semilla sobre un primer plano que se extiende perpendicular a un eje central del área iluminada, rotar la semilla para orientar la semilla paralela a una primera línea horizontal imaginaria posicionada en el primer plano, proyectar la semilla sobre un segundo plano que se extiende perpendicular al primer plano, orientar la semilla paralela a una segunda línea horizontal imaginaria posicionada en el segundo plano, identificar una distancia entre el hilio de la semilla y la segunda línea horizontal imaginaria, y orientar la semilla para posicionar el hilio en la segunda línea horizontal imaginaria en base a la distancia identificada.
