Dispositivo (100) de procesamiento de artículos destinados a la distribución comercial y no comercial, comprendiendo dicho dispositivo una cinta (1) transportadora para transportar y/o mover dichos artículos, medios de identificación (2) para identificar cada uno de dichos artículos, medios (34) para generar una etiqueta individual para cada uno de dichos artículos, así como medios (30) para aplicar individualmente cada una de dichas etiquetas individuales sobre el artículo asociado o correspondiente, estando dicho dispositivo (100) configurado de manera que dichas etiquetas individuales se generen por dichos medios (34) para generar dichas etiquetas individuales, dependiendo cada una de los datos de identificación del artículo asociado o correspondiente, adquiridos por dichos medios de identificación (2), caracterizado porque comprende medios de seguimiento adaptados para seguir la trayectoria de al menos una porción de cada uno de dichos artículos, siendo la secuencia de dichos artículos completamente aleatoria, estando dicho dispositivo (100) configurado adicionalmente de modo que dichas etiquetas individuales sean aplicadas por dichos medios (30) para aplicar las etiquetas individuales cada una sobre dicha porción del artículo asociado o correspondiente basándose en los datos de trayectoria de dicho artículo asociado o correspondiente y en el que dichos medios de seguimiento comprenden medios de reconocimiento adaptados para reconocer al menos un marcador aplicado o ya presente en cada uno de dichos artículos y seguir la trayectoria de cada uno de dichos marcadores en los que los medios (30) de aplicación de las etiquetas individuales están configurados para aplicar la etiqueta en el marcador
