Abstract

Reivindicación 1: Un procedimiento para repeler o dirigir un insecto lejos de una estructura, artículo, y/u organismo, que comprende tratar la estructura, artículo, y/u organismo con una composición que comprende de aproximadamente 0,1 a aproximadamente 2,5 por ciento en peso de uno o más de un compuesto de fórmula (1) - (9), en las que, R¹ y R² se seleccionan independientemente de metilo, etilo, propilo, isopropilo, ciclopropilo, butilo, iso-butilo, terc-butilo, pentilo, hexilo, heptilo, octilo, nonilo, decilo, undecilo y alquilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquenilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquinilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquilo sustituido con halógeno, F, Cl, Br, l, oxígeno, hidroxilo, alcoxi, ciano, ariloxi, C=C, CºC; nitrógeno, NH₂, alquilamino, dialquilamina, trialquilamino; SH, alquiltio, o donde R¹ y R² están unidos entre sí formando una estructura anular (CH₂)₃, (CH₂)₄, (CH₂)₅, (CH₂)₆, (CH₂)₇, (CH₂)₈, (CH₂)₉, (CH₂)₁₀, (CH₂)₁₁, (CH₂)₁₂, (CH₂)₁₃ sustituida o no sustituida; o R³ y R⁴ se seleccionan individualmente de H, alquilo, metilo, etilo, propilo, o butilo. Reivindicación 2: El procedimiento de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1 en el que R¹ es metilo o etilo y R² se selecciona del grupo constituido por metilo, etilo, propilo, isopropilo, ciclopropilo, butilo, iso-butilo, terc-butilo, pentilo, hexilo, heptilo, octilo, nonilo, decilo, undecilo y alquilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquenilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquinilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido. Reivindicación 3: El procedimiento de acuerdo con la reivindicación 1, en el que dicho uno o más compuestos es una cetona C₂₋₁₅. Reivindicación 7: El procedimiento de acuerdo con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 6, en el que dicho uno o más compuestos están formulados en una composición que comprende un agente seleccionado del grupo constituido por alcanfor, aceite de alcanfor, polvo de alcanfor, aceite de árbol de te, aceite de pino, polvo de romero, aceite de romero, y polvo de romero. Reivindicación 9: El procedimiento de acuerdo con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 8, en el que dicha estructura se selecciona del grupo constituido por un edificio comercial o residencial, el interior o exterior de un edificio comercial o residencial, una casa, un auto, un bote, un patio, una cubierta, moblaje, una ventana, un contenedor, un contenedor diseñado para contener un insecto, un contenedor diseñado para repeler, dirigir o combatir un insecto, un cubo de basura, o un receptáculo para basura, un espacio interior, un espacio exterior, un árbol, un arbusto, césped, un cobertizo, un trébol, un matorral, una planta en florecimiento, y alguna estructura adicional capaz de ser tocada o infestada por un insecto. Reivindicación 10: El procedimiento de acuerdo con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 - 8, en el que dicho articulo se selecciona del grupo constituido por cebo, mecanismo o portador de cebo, prenda, cinturón, desodorante de locales, vela, fibra, ropa de cama, lámina, tela, ropa, una red, red para insectos, tejido, papel, vidrio, pintura, tinta, arcilla, algodón, madera, moblaje, alfombra, plástico, polímero, material biológico o sintético, producto para pulverización, sistema de nebulización, espuma, gel, producto evaporador, granulo, y polvo. Reivindicación 11: Una composición de cebo que comprende (a) de aproximadamente 0,1 a aproximadamente 2,5 por ciento en peso de uno o mas compuestos de fórmula (1) - (9), en las que, R¹ y R² se seleccionan independientemente de metilo, etilo, propilo, isopropilo, ciclopropilo, butilo, iso-butilo, terc-butilo, pentilo, hexilo, heptilo, octilo, nonilo, decilo, undecilo y alquilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquenilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquinilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquilo sustituido con halógeno, F, Cl, Br, l, oxígeno, hidroxilo, alcoxi, ciano, ariloxi, C=C, CºC; nitrógeno, NH₂, alquilamino, dialquilamina, trialquilamino; SH, alquiltio, o donde R¹ y R² están unidos entre sí formando una estructura anular (CH₂)₃, (CH₂)₄, (CH₂)₅, (CH₂)₆, (CH₂)₇, (CH₂)₈, (CH₂)₉, (CH₂)₁₀, (CH₂)₁₁, (CH₂)₁₂, (CH₂)₁₃, sustituida o no sustituida; R³ y R⁴ se seleccionan individualmente de H, alquilo, metilo, etilo, propilo, o butilo; y (b) un agente seleccionado del grupo constituido por aceite de alcanfor, aceite de ajowan, polvo de alcanfor, y aceite de romero. Reivindicación 19: La composición de cebo de acuerdo con una cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 11 - 18, comprendiendo dicha composición además un agente de tratamiento seleccionado del grupo constituido por un insecticida, fungicida, plaguicida, y acaricida. Reivindicación 22: La estructura o articulo capaz de repeler, combatir, o dirigir un insecto de la estructura o articulo, en la que dicha composición repele o dirige al menos el 60% de los insectos diana lejos de dicha estructura, articulo y/u organismo durante al menos 3 horas, preferentemente en la que dicha composición repele o dirige al menos el 80% de los insectos diana lejos de dicha estructura, articulo y/u organismo durante al menos 8 horas. Reivindicación 33: Una composición de cebo que comprende (a) de aproximadamente 0,1 a aproximadamente 2,5 por ciento en peso de uno o mas de un compuesto de fórmula (10), en la cual, n es 0, 1 ó 2; y R¹ y R² se seleccionan independientemente de metilo, etilo, propilo, isopropilo, ciclopropilo, butilo, iso-butilo, terc-butilo, pentilo, hexilo, heptilo, octilo, nonilo, decilo, undecilo y alquilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquenilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquinilo C₂₋₁₄ sustituido o no sustituido, alquilo sustituido con halógeno, F, Cl, Br, l, oxígeno, hidroxilo, alcoxi, ciano, arilo, ariloxi, arilalquilo, C=C, CºC; nitrógeno, NH₂, alquilamino, dialquilamina, trialquilamino; SH, alquiltio, o donde R¹ y R² están unidos entre sí formando una estructura anular (CH₂)₃, (CH₂)₄, (CH₂)₅, (CH₂)₆, (CH₂)₇, (CH₂)₈, (CH₂)₉, (CH₂)₁₀, (CH₂)₁₁, (CH₂)₁₂, (CH₂)₁₃ sustituida o no sustituida, fenilo, fenilo sustituido, fenilo opcionalmente sustituido con uno o mas de halógeno, alquilo, nitro, ciano, alcoxi, alquiltio, y estados de oxidación, amido, amino, alquilcarbonilo, alcoxicarbonilo, hidroxicarbonilo, e hidroxilo; y (b) un agente seleccionado del grupo constituido por aceite de alcanfor, aceite de ajowan, polvo de alcanfor, y aceite de romero.
