Abstract
Una lente de contacto de silicona tiene un corte transversal radial de la cara interna, cuyo contorno de la parte de reborde es convexo entre un punto de inflexión y el borde externo. Para su fabricación, se introduce un precursor de silicona entre un molde hembra y un molde macho y se polimeriza, y se libera la lente de contacto polimerizada del molde por medio de un líquido que produce el hinchamiento de la misma.
