Abstract

Sistemas y métodos para optimizar la recondensación de gas de ebullición en tanques de almacenamiento de gas natural licuado. En aspectos especialmente preferidos del objeto de la presente, el BOG proveniente de un tanque de almacenamiento se condensa usando de manera directa o indirecta el contenido disponible para la refrigeración de una parte de la emisión del GNL, y el condensado de BOG y parte de la emisión de GNL se combinan para formar una corriente subenfriada que luego se combina con el resto de la emisión de GNL, para alimentarla a una bomba de alta presión. Las operaciones de recondensación que se contemplan se realizan de manera ventajosa sin utilizar los recondensadores de gran volumen que serían necesarios de otra manera. Además, las operaciones de condensación y subenfriamiento están desacopladas del caudal emisión de GNL.
