Abstract

Un método para determinar una formulación de pintura incluye: obtener información sobre el color a lograr; identificar una pluralidad de tonalizadores y concentraciones correspondientes de los tonalizadores en una fórmula de pintura que puedan usarse para producir una pintura que tenga un color similar al color a lograr dentro del criterio de aceptación especificado por el usuario; y modificar la fórmula de pintura mediante la eliminación de uno de los tonalizadores identificados que tenga la menor concentración para producir una fórmula de pintura modificada que pueda usarse para producir una pintura de un color similar al color a lograr; y determinar si la fórmula de pintura modificada cumple con el criterio de aceptación especificado por el usuario. También se describe un aparato que puede utilizarse para llevar a cabo el método.
