Abstract
La presente describe sistemas, métodos y aparatos para medir el diámetro del tallo durante las operaciones de cosecha y correlacionar esas mediciones con los resultados de rendimiento a fin de proporcionar una resolución precisa del rendimiento a los efectos de detectar y relacionar los errores de siembra u otras variables agronómicas en el momento de la siembra con los resultados de rendimiento, permitiendo así que los productores tomen decisiones mejores y mas informadas en las siguientes temporadas. Reivindicación 1: Un aparato para la medición de un diámetro de un tallo cuando una máquina agrícola atraviesa un campo, que comprende: un miembro palpador dispuesto de modo que haga contacto con el tallo; y un sensor configurado para medir el desplazamiento de dicho miembro palpador.
