Abstract

Un ejercitador de (músculos) abdominales que tiene estructura de base y de respaldo ensambladas centralmente para permitir el movimiento entre la posición erguida y recostada, y una estructura de asiento con almohadón, giratorio montado sobre la estructura de la base. Tiene un rodamiento de baja fricción entre las estructuras de la base y del asiento que soporta el peso del usuario. El rodamiento se encuentra a una distancia de entre un 30 a un 42% calculada desde el extremo trasero del almohadón hasta su extremo delantero de manera que el coxis del usuario quede verticalmente alineado con rodamiento. Hay unos brazos en cada lateral de la estructura de la base que tienen un par de extensiones conectadas a la estructura de la base o a la del asiento, cada una de ellas con una agarradera en forma de “U” que queda en un plano en un ángulo agudo de unos 30 a 80 grados respecto de la horizontal. Un par de poleas individuales o una atrás de la otra (tandem) se ensambla cerca de la parte trasera de la estructura de base y se conecta mediante resortes cubiertos con un revestimiento (recubiertos) usados para tensar la estructura desde la posición de acostado a la posición de erguido.
