Abstract
La presente se refiere a una composición absorbente compuesta por un óxido y/o hidróxido de hierro, carbón activo, promotores y ligantes, en la forma de pastillas o gránulos extruidos, capaz de absorber impurezas de corrientes de fluidos para la eliminación de impurezas, principalmente compuestos de azufre, contenidos en esas corrientes. La presente también se refiere a los procedimientos de obtención de los absorbentes, así como su utilización para la eliminación de impurezas contenidas en corrientes líquidas y gaseosas.
