Abstract

Métodos y aparatos para determinar si transferir un dispositivo para atenuar interferencia de enlace ascendente mientras se logra calidad de servicio de enlace ascendente aceptable en una red inalámbrica. Uno o más parámetros relacionados con un dispositivo se pueden evaluar para determinar si transferir el dispositivo, como una cantidad de informes de potencia de transmisión recibidos del dispositivo durante un período de tiempo, una tasa de error de trama, punto de ajuste (“setpoint”), o comandos de control de potencia relacionados con el enlace ascendente del dispositivo, una potencia de señal piloto recibida en el dispositivo, un rendimiento del enlace ascendente o tamaño de buffer en el dispositivo, etc., del cual se puede inferir información de potencia de transmisión del dispositivo para determinar si el dispositivo interfiere potencialmente con los puntos de acceso o dispositivos. Basado en uno o más parámetros, un punto de acceso puede determinar si transferir el dispositivo puede atenuar dicha interferencia de enlace ascendente mientras que asegura la calidad de servicio de enlace ascendente y en consecuencia transferir el dispositivo.
