Abstract
La presente es un procedimiento para la eliminacion de contaminantes oxigenados y agua de una corriente de hidrocarburos que comprende: introduccion de a corriente de hidrocarburos contaminada en una fase gaseosa en una zona de absorcion, poner en contacto la citada corriente de hidrocarburos en la citada zona de absorcion a una presion de al menos 500 kPa, de forma ventajosa en el intervalo de 500 a 4000 kPa con un alcohol capaz de absorber agua y contaminantes oxigenados en condiciones efectivas para producir una corriente de cabezas de hidrocarburos que presenta un contenido reducido de contaminantes oxigenados y agua y una corriente de colas absorbente que comprende el alcohol, hidrocarburos y que presenta un mayor contenido de contaminantes oxigenados y agua, envío de la corriente de cabezas de la zona de absorcion a una columna de lavado (designada como la columna de lavado con agua a alta presion) a una presion de al menos 500 kPa, de forma ventajosa en el intervalo de 500 a 4000 kPa, lavada esencialmente con agua en condiciones efectivas para producir una corriente de cabezas de hidrocarburos que presenta un contenido reducido de contaminantes oxigenados y una corriente de colas acuosa que presenta un mayor contenido de contaminantes oxigenados, De forma ventajosa el procedimiento comprende además envío de la corriente de colas desde la zona de absorcion a una columna de destilacion (designada como a columna de destilacion de alcohol) que opera a una presion de menos de 300 kPa absolutos y de forma ventajosa a una presion en el intervalo de 100 a 300 kPa absolutos en condiciones efectivas para producir una corriente de cabezas que comprende esencialmente contaminantes oxigenados e hidrocarburos, tratados opcionalmente para recuperar los hidrocarburos, una corriente de colas de alcohol que comprende agua y está esencialmente exenta de hidrocarburos y contaminantes oxigenados, envío de la citada corriente de colas de alcohol al procedimiento que ha producido la corriente de hidrocarburos que comprende contaminantes oxigenados y agua que se va a purificar.
