Abstract

Las dispersiones y las emulsiones aceite-agua que derivan de las operaciones de la industria petrolífera se demulsifican y clarifican utilizando polímeros anionicos. La formacion de dichas dispersiones y emulsiones aceite-agua se inhibe y se mitiga utilizando los polímeros anionicos. Los polímeros anionicos comprenden: A) 2-80% en peso de por lo menos un monomero de ácido carboxílico etilénicamente insaturado C3-8; B) 15-80% en peso de por lo menos un monomero alfa,beta etilénicamente insaturado, no ionico, copolimerizable; C) 1-50% en peso de uno o más de los siguientes monomeros: C1) por lo menos éster surfactante de vinilo, no ionico; o C2) por lo menos un monomero alfa,beta etilénicamente insaturado, no ionico, copolimerizable que tiene cadenas poliméricas más largas que el monomero B), o C3) por lo menos un monomero de uretano no ionico; y, opcionalmente, D) 0-5% en peso de por lo menos un encadenante en cruz.
