Abstract
Un método para caracterizar y clasificar una muestra de mezclas de péptidos o polipéptidos o una biomolécula que comprende un componente polipeptídico en el que se utiliza espectrometría de masa y métodos estadísticos de análisis de los resultados de la espectrometría de masa. Reivindicacion 2: Un método de acuerdo con la reivindicacion 1, caracterizado porque el método comprende (a) digerir o descomponer la muestra con una enzima o una sustancia química apropiada para obtener fragmentos peptídicos; (b) analizar los fragmentos peptídicos por espectrometría de masa para producir un espectro de masa; y (c) analizar el espectro de masa con métodos estadísticos para clasificar y distinguir las distintas muestras.
