Abstract
SAMMENDRAG Fremgangsmåte for å analysere og klassifisere morfologien til seismiske objekter ekstrahert fra et tredimensjonalt seismisk datavolum. En hvilken som helst metode kan anvendes for å ekstrahere de seismiske objektene fra det tredimensjonale seismiske datavolumet. l fremgangsmåten ifølge oppfinnelsen velges én eller flere morfologiske parametere for bruk til å klassifisere morfologien til de valgte seismiske objektene. Geometriske analyser blir deretter utført på hvert seismiske objekt for å bestemme geometriske egenskaper som svarer til de valgte morfologiske parametrene. Resultatene av disse geometriske analysene brukes til å klassifisere morfologien til de seismiske objektene i henhold til de valgte morfologiske parametrene.
