Abstract

La presente solicitud tiene por objeto proveer un artículo absorbente mejorado de modo que los fluidos corporales puedan ser absorbidos por una estructura absorbente desde una cara orientada hacia la piel de la estructura absorbente y una cara no orientada hacia la piel de la misma como consecuencia de lo cual un centro absorbente de líquidos puede ser eficientemente utilizado. En un panal 10, un elemento de entrepierna 40 incluye un par de láminas de contacto con la piel 50 separadas entre sí en una direccion transversal X y una lámina externa 60. Los bordes laterales internos 53, 53 de las respectivas láminas de contacto con la piel cooperan con los respectivos segundos extremos 25, 35 de los elementos de cintura anterior y posterior para definir una abertura 41. Una pluralidad de elementos elásticos de entrepierna 55 se fijan a los bordes laterales internos 53, 53 de las respectivas láminas de contacto con la piel y, bajo el efecto de estos elementos elásticos de entrepierna 55, la longitud de las láminas de contacto con la piel se reduce en forma sustancial. Los bordes laterales internos 53 de las láminas de contacto con la piel están separados de la lámina externa 60 en la direccion del espesor para formar un espacio 42 entre las láminas de contacto con la piel 50 y la lámina externa 60. Dentro de este espacio 42, se provee una estructura absorbente de líquidos 70. La estructura absorbente de líquidos 70 incluye un pliegue 77 que se forma plegando la estructura 70 a lo largo de una línea de pliegue 76. Una porcion superior del pliegue 77 se adhiere a los bordes laterales internos 53 de las respectivas láminas de contacto con la piel 50.
