Abstract

Un artículo absorbente comprende una lámina superior permeable a los líquidos, una lámina posterior impermeable a los líquidos y un nucleo absorbente ubicado entre ambas. La lámina superior permeable a los líquidos y la lámina posterior impermeable a los líquidos se extienden más allá del nucleo absorbente en al menos la direccion del ancho (X) y están unidas entre sí en el área externa al nucleo absorbente para formar una costura marginal. El artículo absorbente comprende dos elementos elásticos, cada elemento elástico se extiende a lo largo de un borde longitudinal del nucleo absorbente de manera que, a lo largo de una gran parte de la extension de los elementos elásticos en la direccion longitudinal (Y), los elementos elásticos se superponen tanto a una porcion del nucleo absorbente como a una parte de la costura marginal en la direccion del ancho (X). Esta disposicion brinda una mejor adaptacion tridimensional del artículo.
