Abstract

Un artículo absorbente que comprende un núcleo absorbente intercalado entre una lámina superior permeable a líquidos y una lámina posterior impermeable a líquidos. El artículo tiene una dirección longitudinal a lo largo de un eje longitudinal central y una dirección transversal a lo largo de un eje transversal central que se extiende perpendicular a dicho eje longitudinal, en donde dicho artículo absorbente tiene un borde del extremo frontal y un borde del extremo posterior que se extienden en dicha dirección transversal y un primer borde lateral y un segundo borde lateral que se extienden en dicha dirección longitudinal. El artículo absorbente tiene una parte frontal, una parte posterior y una parte de entrepierna ubicadas entre dicha parte frontal y parte posterior. El núcleo absorbente comprende un área coherente que está dispuesta en al menos la parte frontal y la parte de entrepierna del artículo absorbente. El área coherente tiene un borde frontal y un borde posterior. El área coherente está compuesta por un componente absorbente encerrado por una cubierta del núcleo. La cubierta del núcleo comprende un lado superior y un lado inferior y una disposición de sellado para unir dicho lado superior e inferior de la cubierta del núcleo en forma de al menos un canal sellado que se extiende en la dirección longitudinal del núcleo absorbente.
