Abstract

Se describen métodos para la extracción de aceite y ésteres de forbol de granos de semillas oleaginosas, por ejemplo, de grano de semilla oleaginosa de Jatropha curcas. Los métodos comprenden el tratamiento del grano de semilla oleaginosa con por lo menos un solvente, y la separación de la mezcla resultante de solvente/aceite del grano tratado, a fin de dejar una torta de semillas sustancialmente libre de ésteres de forboI.
