Abstract
Un método para el hilado de una fibra que comprende nanofibrillas de celulosa estando alineadas a lo largo del eje principal de la fibra a partir de una suspension liotropica de nanofibrillas de celulosa, lográndose dicha alineacion de nanofibrillas a través de la extension de la fibra extruida desde una matriz, hilera o aguja, donde dicha fibra es secada bajo extension y las nanofibrillas alineadas se agregan para formar una estructura continua. Las fibrillas utilizadas en este método pueden ser extraídas de un material rico en celulosa tal como la madera. La solicitud también se refiere a una fibra a base de celulosa obtenida de acuerdo con este método y se refiere a una fibra celulosica la cual contiene por lo menos 90% en peso de celulosa cristalizada.
