Abstract
La solicitud se refiere a un procedimiento para la produccion de hierro, optimizada energéticamente y en relacion con las emisiones, y a una instalacion para la realizacion del procedimiento. Para ello, se aprovecha como primer gas reductor una primera cantidad parcial de un gas de generador producido en un gasificador de fusion, y una segunda cantidad parcial es conducida como segundo gas reductor a por lo menos una zona de reduccion adicional. Además, una cantidad parcial de gas de alto horno, extraída de la primera zona de reduccion después del lavado de CO2, se mezcla con el gas de generador después de su salida del gasificador de fusion, con lo que se produce el enfriamiento.
