En una motocicleta (10) donde un cuadro principal (37) se extiende hacia atrás y en sentido diagonal hacia abajo desde un tubo de cabeza (32), el motor (38) está sostenido por la parte trasera del cuadro principal (37) y el cubrepiernas (14) que protege la cara anterior de las piernas (15a) del motociclista (15) se dispone en el frente de la carrocería; el cubrepiernas (14) está dividido verticalmente en dos: un cubrepiernas superior izquierdo (16) de un par y un cubrepiernas inferior izquierdo (81) de un par, y la holgura (78) entre el cubre-piernas superior (16) y el cubrepiernas inferior (81) se extiende desde el frente del cuerpo del cilindro (41) del motor (38) hasta la parte trasera del cuerpo del cilindro (41).
