Abstract
Técnicas para derivar estimaciones del canal de enlace ascendente de manera eficiente sin consumir demasiados recursos de enlace ascendente adicionales. Un equipo de usuario (UE) puede enviar un requerimiento para recursos de enlace ascendente sobre un canal de requerimiento (REQCH) cada vez que el UE desee transmitir datos sobre el enlace ascendente. El UE puede enviar el REQCH en un conjunto de subportadores y a partir de antenas multiples, por ejemplo, puede enviar datos en los subportadores de datos y piloto en los subportadores de piloto. Un Nodo B puede recibir el requerimiento, estimar las ganancias complejas del canal para los subportadores de pilotos sobre la base de los símbolos de piloto recibidos, y demodular de manera coherente los símbolos de datos recibidos sobre la base de las estimaciones de ganancia de canal. El Nodo B puede estimar las ganancias del canal complejas para los subportadores de datos sobre la base de los símbolos de datos demodulados, y derivar una estimacion de canal para cada antena del UE sobre la base de las estimaciones de ganancia de canal para los subportadores de datos y de piloto. El nodo B puede utilizar las estimaciones de canal para la programacion de MIMO, la programacion de subbanda y la seleccion de velocidad.
