Abstract
Proceso de absorcion de n-butano para purificar el etileno producto de un proceso de oxidacion de etano. El producto de la oxidacion de etano se alimenta a una serie de torres de absorcion usando n-butano como solvente para extraer los componentes inertes y para purificar el etileno del producto. Una primera torre de absorcion usa n-butano como solvente para absorber tanto el etano como el etileno, permitiendo extraer de la corriente los gases inertes. Se envía tilia corriente lateral rica en etileno proveniente de esta torre a una torre de purificacion de etileno donde se purifica el etileno usando solvente n-butano. La corriente del fondo proveniente de la primera torre de absorcion se envía luego a una torre intermedia de recuperacion de etileno donde el etileno se purifica en bruto, y donde la corriente de cabeza de etileno se envía a la torre de purificacion de etileno. Luego se envían la corriente proveniente del fondo junto con la corriente del fondo de la torre de purificacion de etileno, ambas comprendiendo en su mayor parte etano y n-butano, a una torre de separacion para recuperar el etano y el solvente n-butano.
