Abstract
La presente ofrece un método simple y eficiente para el craqueo autosostenido por radiacion de hidrocarburos. El método descrito ofrece un procesamiento de destruccion profunda de las cadenas hidrocarbonadas utilizando craqueo autosostenido por radiacion de cadenas hidrocarbonadas bajo una amplia variedad de condiciones de radiacion y rangos de temperatura (desde temperatura ambiente hasta 400°C). En la presente se divulgan varias formas de presentacion de dicho método, incluyendo: (i) un caso especial de craqueo térmico por radiacion denominado craqueo por radiacion a alta temperatura (CRAT); (ii) craqueo por radiacion a baja temperatura (CRBT); y (iii) craqueo por radiacion en frío (CRF). Hasta el momento, tales métodos no fueron apreciados en la técnica. En una forma de presentacion, una materia prima petrolera es sometida a radiacion para iniciar y/o al menos parcialmente propagar una reaccion en cadena entre los componentes de la materia prima petrolera. En una forma de presentacion, el tratamiento resulta en la descomposicion de cadenas hidrocarbonadas; sin embargo también pueden ocurrir otras reacciones químicas descritas en la presente.
