Abstract
Un método para control de admision de llamada en un sistema de comunicacion inalámbrica que tiene una unidad inalámbrica de transmision/recepcion (WTRU) y un controlador de red de radio (RNC), que comprende los pasos de: solicitar una admision de llamada por parte de la WTRU del RNC; verificar el nivel de batería de la WTRU y determinar una primera velocidad de bit en base al nivel de batería; verificar la carga de célula y determinar una segunda velocidad de bit en base a la carga de célula; seleccionar la velocidad de bit más baja entre la primera velocidad de bit y la segunda velocidad de bit; asignar recursos físicos para la llamada; y admitir la llamada a la velocidad de bit más baja. También se divulga un método para control de congestionamiento tanto en el enlace ascendente como en el descendente del sistema de comunicacion inalámbrica, un método para mantenimiento de enlace de usuario en el sistema de comunicacion inalámbrica y tanto en el enlace ascendente como descendente del sistema de comunicacion inalámbrica, un método para ejecutar traspaso en el sistema de comunicacion inalámbrica, y un método para control de potencia en el sistema de comunicacion inalámbrica.
