Abstract
La presente se refiere a un aparato y un proceso para atomizar un suministro petrolífero. En particular, se atomiza un suministro petrolífero líquido por medio de un aparato de atomizacion, el cual posee un orificio que produce un patron de rociado de suministro, generalmente plano, dispersado finamente antes de ponerse en contacto con un catalizador en una zona de craqueo catalítico de fluido. El orificio posee una relacion general entre dimensiones superior a 1,0 y una relacion entre longitud de perímetro y área transversal superior a 1,5 relativa a una relacion entre perímetro y área transversal de un orificio circular de área equivalente. El aparato se puede utilizar para atomizar suministro inyectado en la zona de craqueo de un craqueador catalítico de fluido.
