Abstract
En un proceso para producir amoníaco (3) sobre a base de una mezcla (4) que comprende esencialmente nitrogeno e hidrogeno obtenido a partir de gas natural (5), dicho gas natural (5) es sometido a una reaccion de oxidacion parcial con un gas (6) rico en oxígeno en presencia de vapor obteniendo un gas de síntesis (7)crudo siendo tratado en al menos un paso (cambio) re reaccion catalítica para convertir parte del monoxido de carbono en dioxido de carbono obteniendo un gas de síntesis (8) convertido que comprende hidrogeno, dioxido de carbono y monoxido de carbono, dicho gas de síntesis (8) convertido siendo sometido a al menos un paso de decarbonatacion hasta al menos remover parcialmente el dioxido de carbono y a al menos un paso de purificacion hasta al menos remover parcialmente el monoxido de carbono
