Abstract
Composiciones y métodos para conferir tolerancia a glifosato en bacterias, plantas, células, tejidos y semillas vegetales. Las composiciones incluyen una nueva clase en enzimas EPSPS, denominada Clase III, y los polinucleotidos que codifican dichas enzimas, vectores que comprenden dichos polinucleotidos y células huésped que contienen a los vectores. Las nuevas proteínas comprenden al menos un dominio de secuencia seleccionado entre los dominios de la Clase III provistos en la presente. Estos dominios de secuencia se pueden usar para identificar la EPSP sintetasa que presenta actividad de resistencia a glifosato
