Abstract
Un mecanismo rotativo tiene un alojamiento que define una cámara cerrada sustancialmente anular con una pared interna y un motor simétrico de dos lóbulos que tiene caras laterales opuestas y un eje longitudinal entre vértices del rotor. Un eje de mando soporta el rotor para hacer girar el rotor excéntricamente dentro de la cámara de manera que los vértices barran continuamente la pared interna creando, así, cavidades entre cada lóbulo y la pared interna de volúmenes sucesivamente en aumento y disminución. Los puertos espaciados de entrada y escape permiten el suministro y la descarga de fluido al interior de las cavidades. El rotor es soportado para girar excéntricamente sobre el eje de mando por medio de un conjunto alternado de bloque y ranura y de un segundo medio de soporte que hace que un centro del rotor siga una órbita circular en la cámara.
