Abstract
Se relaciona, inter alia, con proteínas nematicidas. En una realización particular, la proteína comprende la secuencia representada como SEC. ID. NRO: 1. Además, se provee un polinucleótido que codifica la proteína de SEC. ID. NRO: 1. Adicionalmente, se proveen plantas y células huéspedes que contienen un polinucleótido que codifica la proteína de SEC. ID. NRO: 1. Reivindicación 12: Un método para proporcionar una planta o parte de planta con una proteína nematicida, que comprende: a) insertar en el genoma de la planta o del material de planta un polinucleótido según se reivindica en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 4 a 6, o una construcción según se reivindica en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 7 a 9; b) a partir de esto, regenerar plantas o partes de planta; y c) seleccionar aquellas plantas o partes de planta que tienen dicha proteína. Reivindicación 17: Un método para el control de nematodos, que comprende suministrar a un sitio de donde se alimentan dichos nematodos, una proteína conforme a cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3. Reivindicación 18: Una composición que comprende una cantidad nematicida eficaz de por lo menos una proteína conforme a lo reivindicado en cualquiera de las reivindicaciones 1 a 3 y un portador, diluyente o atrayente de nematodos agrícolamente aceptable.
