Abstract

Se proveen ácidos nucleicos, y variantes y fragmentos de los mismos, obtenidos a partir de cepas de Bacillus thuringiensis que codifican polipéptidos que tienen actividad pesticida contra las plagas de insectos, inclusive Lepidopteros. Las formas de realizacion particulares proveen ácidos nucleicos aislados que codifican proteínas pesticidas, composiciones pesticidas, constructos de ADN, y microorganismos y plantas transformados que comprenden un ácido nucleico de las formas de realizacion. Estas composiciones encuentran uso en los métodos para controlar plagas, especialmente plagas en plantas.
