µcidos nucleicos, y variantes y fragmentos de los mismos, obtenidos de cepas de Bacillus thuringiensis que codifican polipeptidos que tienen actividad pesticida contra plagas de insectos, con inclusion de Lepidopteros. Las formas de realizacion particulares de la presente proveen cidos nucleicos aislados que codifican prote¡nas pesticidas, composiciones pesticidas, constructos de ADN, y plantas y microorganismos transformados que comprenden un cido nucleico de las formas de realizacion. Estas composiciones encuentran uso en los metodos para controlar plagas, especialmente plagas en plantas.
