Abstract
Un portador de grabación de capas múltiples para grabar información mediante la escritura de marcas en una pista. El portador de grabación tiene una primera capa de grabación (40) y una segunda capa de grabación (41), y cada capa de grabación tiene una pre-acanaladura indicando la posición de la pista de acuerdo con un pasaje de pista opuesto. La pre-acanaladura exhibe una fluctuación modulada para representar información de control. Una parte de entrada de la pre-acanaladura tiene primera información de control para la primera capa de grabación, y la parte de salida en la segunda capa de grabación tiene segunda información de control incluyendo parámetros de grabación para la segunda capa de grabación. El dispositivo tiene una cabeza para proveer los medios de detección de fluctuación y de haz para recuperar información de control de cada capa.
