Abstract
Método y aparato para desacelerar y para acumular temporalmente un producto laminado en caliente que se mueve longitudinalmente a lo largo de un eje de recepción con una primera velocidad V1. el producto es dirigido a través de una guía curva (25) que tiene un extremo entrada (26a) alineado con el eje de recepción (A) a efectos de recibir el producto, y un extremo de salida (26c) separado radialmente del eje de recepción (A) y orientado de manera de entregar el producto en una dirección de salida que es transversal con respecto al eje de recepción (A). La guía curva (25) es hecha rotar alrededor del eje de recepción en una dirección que es opuesta a la dirección de salida del producto y con una velocidad con la cual el extremo de salida (26c) de la guía tiene una velocidad V2, con lo cual se desacelera el producto que está siendo entregado desde el extremo de salida, a una velocidad reducida V3 igual a V1-V2. la curvatura de la guía (25) y la orientación de su extremo de salida es tal de transformar el producto entregado en un helicoide depositado y temporalmente acumulado en un tambor (30) cilíndrico. El tambor (30) es hecho rotar en una dirección opuesta a la dirección de rotación de la guía curva (25) de manera de así desenrollar el producto del tambor.
