Abstract
Reivindicación 1: Una planta de soja de elite agrícola caracterizada porque pertenece a una variedad que tiene un contenido proteico total promedio en la semilla completa de entre 44% y 50%, un contenido promedio de proteínas y aceite total en la semilla completa de entre 64% y 70%, y un rendimiento de significación comercial. Reivindicación 7: Un cultivo de tejido de células regenerables de la planta de la reivindicación 1, caracterizada porque el cultivo de tejido regenera plantas de soja capaces de expresar todas las características fisiológicas y morfológicas de la planta de la reivindicación 1. Reivindicación 8: El cultivo de tejido de la reivindicación 7, caracterizada porque las células regenerables son embriones, células meristemáticas, polen, hojas, raíces, puntas de raíces o flores, o son protoplastos o callos derivados de los mismos. Reivindicación 9: Una planta de soja regenerada del cultivo de tejido de la reivindicación 7, caracterizada porque la planta de soja regenerada es capaz de expresar todas las características fisiológicas y morfológicas de la planta de la reivindicación 1. Reivindicación 12: La planta de soja de la reivindicación 10, caracterizada porque la conversión de locus único comprende un alelo recesivo. Reivindicación 16: Un método, para producir semillas de soja, caracterizada porque comprende cruzar la planta de la reivindicación 1 consigo misma o con una segunda planta de soja. Reivindicación 17: El método de la reivindicación 16, caracterizada porque se define además como un método para preparar una semilla híbrida de soja, que comprende cruzar la planta de la reivindicación 1 con una segunda planta de soja diferente. Reivindicación 18: El método de la reivindicación 17, caracterizado por que el cruzamiento comprende los pasos de: (a) sembrar una semilla de la planta de la reivindicación 1 y una segunda planta de soja diferente; (b) cultivar plantas de soja a partir de dicha hasta que dichas plantas generan flores; (c) polinizar en forma cruzada una flor de la planta de la reivindicación 1 con polen de dicha segunda planta de soja o polinizar en forma cruzada una flor de dicha segunda planta de soja con polen de la planta de la reivindicación 1; y (d) cosechar las semillas que resultan de dicha polinización cruzada.
