Abstract

Método para mejorar el funcionamiento de caza de un mamífero cazador que comprende la administración oral de una cantidad eficaz de una dieta que comprende un componente que se selecciona del grupo que consiste en ácidos grasos insaturados EPA, ácidos grasos insaturados DHA, y mezclas de éstos, en donde la dieta comprende más de 0,2% en peso del componente en peso de la dieta. Dicho método en donde la dieta comprende un componente de harina de pescado, grasa de pollo, linaza molida y mezclas de éstos y en donde la dieta está libre de grasa vacuna. Dicho método en donde el mamífero cazador es un perro, la relación en peso de EPA a DHA en la dieta es de 0,8:1,5 a 1,5:0,7 y en donde la dieta comprende ácido graso omega-6 y ácido graso omega-3, en una relación omega-6/omega-3 de 5:1 a 10:1.
