Abstract

Se revela un bolsito que se puede usar como retorta para usar con productos alimenticios. El bolsito que se puede usar como retorta incluye por lo menos una hoja hecha de un material laminado de tres o de cuatro capas. El material laminado incluye una capa exterior de tereftalato de polietileno, una segunda capa de nilon opcional, una tercera capa de hoja delgada de metal y una capa interior de polipropileno. Se usa adhesivo sin solvente para ligar las capas juntas. El bolsito que se puede usar como retorta se forma sellando por calor los bordes de una o más hojas del laminado tal que las capas de polipropileno miren hacia adentro y sean soldadas juntas. El bolsito y su contenido entonces pueden ser pasteurizados mediante tratamiento por calor sin degradacion del laminado o el sello por calor.
