Abstract

Se presenta un producto de cereal que comprende cereales en escamas estabilizados en una matriz de espuma solida que no tiene agregado de grasa y aglutinaa los cereales en escamas. La matriz de espuma solida tiene un volumen expandido formado por la introduccion de un gas, que puede ser formado in situ mediantela evolucion de un gas por la reaccion de por lo menos un compuesto liberador de gas con por lo menos un material seleccionado entre el grupo que consiste enun ácido o una sal de ácido cua ndo los materiales de la matriz de espuma se encuentran en estado fluido. El producto de cereal comprende cereal o cereales enescamas unidos entre sí en una matriz de espuma solida que une entre sí al cereal o cereales en escamas.
