Abstract

Compuestos que tienen utilidad para el control de la enfermedad denominada pietín en las plantas, particularmente los cereales, un método para controlar elpietín y composiciones fungicidas para llevar a cabo el método. Los compuestos de la invencionson oximas o hidrazonas de arilgloxamidas o heterarilglioxamidao cicloalquenil-glioxamidas de la formula en donde los sustituyentes figuran en la descripcion. En cuanto al campo de aplicacion diremos que la enfermedad depietin constituye un serio problema en la produccion de cereales, especialmente trigo y cebada, la cual es causada por el hongo de la tierra Gaemannomycesgraminis var. tritici (Ggt). Este hongo infecta las raíces de la planta y crece en todo el tejido de la raíz, causando pudricion radicular negra y problemasen la parte inferior del tallo. Esto impide que la planta obtenga agua y/o nutrientes suficientes del suelo y se manifiesta en forma de escaso vigor de lasplantas. Hasta ahora el principal medio para evitar la pérdida decultivos debido a la infestacion del suelo por Ggt es la rotacion de cultivos porotros resistentes, sin embargo la rotacion no es una práctica conveniente y es muy deseable disponer de un agente de control efectivo.
