Abstract
Una pantalla radiante de combustion 8 comprende un sustrato formado por un material de espuma de cerámica poroso, rígido, resistente al calor, con forma detrama fina o reticular que demarca los poros que se abren el uno al otro y de los que hay 30po ros o menos por 645,16 milímetros cuadrados. Este material deespuma cerámica puede ser permeado en forma fácil y rápida por productos gaseosos calientes de combustion provenientes de un quemador 4 que quema combustiblefluido, por ejemplo, gasnatural . El material de espuma de cerámica, que puede ser un silicato de alumina, de preferencia sin sílice libre, por ejemplo,preparado a partir de aproximadamente 78% por peso de alumina y aproximadamente 22% por peso de sílice, o puede seralumina sustan cialmente pura (95% por peso), soporta un revestimiento emisor de radiacion aplicado por pulverizacion a la cara 14 de la pantalla 8.
