Abstract

La invencion se refiere a un proceso para la produccion de biomasa de levadura por cultivo de un cultivo de levadura a escala comercial donde el cultivo decultivo de levadura comprende uno o más genes HXK2 funcionalmente eliminados y a la biomasa delevadura obtenible mediante dicho proceso. La invencion tambiénse refiere a levadura prensada, levadura en crema o levadura seca hecha a partir de dicha biomasa. Además la invencion se refiere a un proceso para laproduccion de proteínas o metabolitossecundarios que usan un cultivo de levadura que comprende uno o más genes HXXK2 eliminados funcionalmente o sus análogos.
