Abstract
Se revela una pila alcalina (10) que posee un cátodo (12) el cual, comprende dioxido de manganeso, siendo el cátodo (12) un semisolido durante la descargade la misma. La pila (10) puede tener un ánodo (50) que comprenda zinc y un electrolito que comprenda hidroxido de potasio. El cátodo semisolido (12) quecomprende dioxido de manganeso puede encontrarse en forma de masilla o pasta. El cátodo semisolido (12) reduce los efectos de polarizacion catodicos y resultaen un mayor aprovechamiento del dioxido de manganeso (Amp-h/g), particularmente bajo un elevado consumo corriente, que se ubique entre aproximadamente 0.5 y 2Amp.. Método de cargado de mezcla catodica que contiene dioxido de manganeso en carcasa cilíndrica para pila alcalina.
