Abstract

Un compuesto de tejido tramado al azar mejorado se forma combinando los filamentos termoplásticos de bicomponente que tienen propiedades adhesivascon un componente seleccionado de otras fibras y partículas. Los filamentos de bicomponente incluyen regiones distintas de los polímeros incompatibles primeroy segundo a través de una seccion transversal de los filamentos individuales. Después de que los filamentos de bicomponente son combinados con otrasfibras y/o partículas, las propiedades adhesivasde los filamentos de bicomponente originan un tejido o matriz de filamentos que tiene una capacidadmejorada para atrapar, capturar y contener las otras fibras y/o partículas dentro del tejido o matriz.
