Abstract
Se revela una aleacion para fundir terminales para acumuladores de plomo que tiene buena resistencia a la corrosion, produce menos escoria durante lafabricacion, ofrece resistencia a la degradacion del polipropileno, así como otras características mejoradas. La aleacion se compone de antimonio que seencuentra presente en la escala que oscila entre alrededor del 2,5 y el 4,15%; arsénico que se encuentra presente en la escala que oscila entre alrededor del0,15 y el 0,35%; estano que se encuentra presente en la escala que oscila entre alrededor de 0,2 y el 0,6%; cobre que se encuentra presente en la escala queoscila entre alrededor de 0 y 200 ppm; azufre que se encuentra presente en la escala que oscila entre alrededor de 0 y 40 ppm; y el resto es plomo. En unaforma de realizacion alternativa, el cobre y el azufre se reemplazan por selenio en la escala que oscila en el orden de entre 40 y 90 ppm. También se describeuna terminal lateral para un acumulador de plomo que comprende una piezade sujecion y un buje, que rodea dicha pieza de sujecion, y que está constituido pordicha aleacion. Con respecto a la figura 1, se exhibe un acumulador de Pb (10) que incluye un receptáculo de polipropileno (11) con terminales laterales (12).En la figura 2 se ilustra una de las terminales laterales que tiene el buje (14) en el cual se asegura una tuerca de acero inoxidable (16). Se proporciona unboton de soldadura (18) en la parte trasera para la union con la junta de lápida usual. El buje estáformado por la aleacion de acuerdo con la presenteinvencion.
