Abstract

Una superficie de acero con un recubrimiento de zinc o aleacion de zinc y proceso para el esmaltado de la misma, donde el recubrimiento comprende una capade esmalte vítreo que tiene un grosor en el rango de 30 a 500 micron y está esencialmente librede oxidos seleccionados del grupo del Co, Ni, Cu, Sb oMn, que proveen adherencia, evitándose así la aplicacion de un pretratamiento con Ni o de una imprimacion con algun tipo de adhesivo. La capa de Zn o aleacionde Zn es aplicada mediante galvanizado, palvo recocido o electrochapeado, que se somete a un pretratamiento de calor a una temperatura de por lo menos 500sCantes del esmaltado. Dicho recubrimiento de Zn o aleacion de Zn tiene un grosor comprendido entre 1 y 30 micron. La capa de esmaltevítreo puede sercocida a una temperatura comprendida entre el rango de 700 y 900s C.
